S's proposal to M at the Roy's Peak, Wanaka, New Zealand

This past May, S and M’s love story reached new heights—literally. After nine months of carefully hiding the engagement ring, S finally proposed to M at the breathtaking Roy’s Peak in Wanaka, New Zealand. Their plan was to capture the magic of sunrise, with its golden light illuminating the awe-inspiring landscape. Although they missed the sunrise, the striking views and their radiant love made the moment nothing short of extraordinary.

Bespoke Engagement Ring S & M’s journey with us began in 2022, when they discovered Fujimori Kajita at a bridal fair. Even before Salt & Pepper Diamonds became part of our collection, M was captivated by their unique beauty—the natural inclusions that give each stone its distinct character.

For M, the Salt & Pepper Diamond was more than just a gemstone; it symbolised life’s journey, with its dark and light specks representing the ups and downs we all experience. This diamond embodies the truth that real beauty lies in embracing imperfections.

M had always envisioned her dream engagement ring as a pear-shaped Salt & Pepper Diamond set on a textured solitaire band. The opportunity to bring this vision to life came when our founder and designer, Takashi Fujimori, happened to be in town. Seizing this rare moment, M and S collaborated with him in person to create a bespoke design, capturing their love story in a truly one-of-a-kind ring.

After more than a year of collaboration, S & M’s dream ring became a reality. On behalf of Fujimori Kajita, we are honoured to have been part of their love story. We wish them a lifetime filled with love, happiness, and countless wonderful memories together. 💍✨
