To celebrate the season of new beginnings, Fujimori Kajita will unveil its first Spring collection, titled Spring Haze, on Saturday, 22 March at our boutique. Inspired by the soft, luminous colours of early spring, this collection captures the fleeting beauty of nature’s awakening—expressed through delicate sapphire band rings in pastel hues.
Spring Haze (Harugasumi) captures the fleeting beauty of early spring, when soft light filters through morning mist and nature stirs to life. This collection of band rings features an artful arrangement of melee-sized sapphires in delicate pastel tones—lime green, sunshine yellow, blush pink, and sky blue—each gemstone hand-selected and set to evoke the dreamy hues of a spring haze.
Named after 花霞 (Hanagasumi), meaning blossom haze, this ring evokes the fleeting beauty of sakura blossoms gently veiled by a soft spring mist. In Japan, hanagasumi describes the ethereal sight of cherry trees in full bloom, blending seamlessly with the pale green of freshly sprouted leaves and the hazy light of early spring mornings.
Our designer captured this delicate palette by arranging lime green, yellow, orangey pink, and soft pink sapphires in a graceful gradient, reminiscent of a spring landscape viewed through a gentle haze. Just as the sakura’s pale pink petals dance beside budding trees in pastel green, the colours of this ring mirror that quiet harmony—subtle, luminous, and full of life.
